About this site
AI in the SOC
A market news page made by the Cyberfuturists with Aunoo: who makes it, how, and what happens to your data.
What this is
AI in the SOC tracks the vendors in one market: their announcements and hiring, customer stories, what practitioners say about the products, and the analyst coverage they pick up. New material appears as it is collected, and the period selector at the top shows the last 7, 30 or 90 days of it. It is written for people who work in or around this market.
It is published by the Cyberfuturists, a cybersecurity advisory, and made with Aunoo, its market intelligence platform.
How it is made
The material is collected automatically from public sources: press releases and news coverage, the vendors’ own websites, blogs and LinkedIn company pages, their public job listings, posts on X, Bluesky and Reddit that mention the market, and what the analyst firms publish in the open. Every item links back to where it was found, so you can always read the original.
AI models make the first pass over what arrives: they match each item to a vendor, sort announcements from commentary and marketing, and draft the summaries. People at the Cyberfuturists write the rules the models work to and check what they produce. The exception is the Analysis section, where every piece is written by the person named on it.
No vendor pays to appear here, and none can pay to stay off. The list is our own judgement, and we add a company when the public record gives us enough to cover it. If yours belongs here and is missing, tell us through the form on the front page and we will look.
AI disclosure
Contains AI-generated content produced by AunooAI. Verify against cited sources before external use.
The summaries, the highlights, the sorting of items into sections, the map of vendors by scale and momentum and the automatic briefings are all produced by AI models, and any of them can contain errors. Headlines and quoted text are the sources’ own words, and pieces under Analysis are written by the person named on them. This notice is given under Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
Privacy
The data controller is Oliver Rochford Ltd, trading as Cyberfuturists (see Contact and imprint below).
Reading the page. The site has no accounts and sets no cookies. Our web server keeps a standard access log of your IP address, browser string and the pages you request; we use it to run the site, to stop abuse and to count visitors, and we delete it after 14 days. The visitor counts we keep are daily totals, with no IP address or browser string in them.
Visit counting. A small script on the page tells us when it was read: the page, the site that sent you, how long the page was open, how far you scrolled, and which links to other sites you clicked. It sets no cookie and stores no IP address or browser string. To count each reader once a day, it keeps a code made from your address and browser that changes every day and cannot be traced back to either.
Fonts. The page loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when it opens the page; Google’s privacy policy applies to that request.
Forms. If you send a news tip, tell us your company is missing, ask for data access or an advisory proposal, or ask for a trial, we store what you type together with your IP address and browser string, and the message is emailed to the editors. We use it to answer you and to limit repeated submissions from one address, and for nothing else; we do not sell it or share it. If you want it deleted, write to us through the same forms.
Booking a call. If you book an analyst call, payment is taken by Stripe on its own pages; we never see your card. Stripe passes us your name, email address, the amount paid and, if you gave one, your billing address, and applies its own privacy policy to what it holds. We keep that, what you told us the call is about, your IP address and browser string, to run the call and for our accounts, which UK tax law makes us keep for six years. Choosing a time happens on a Google Calendar booking page under Google’s terms.
Links. Every item links out to a third-party site with its own privacy terms, and the images shown with posts load from the network they were posted on.
People named on the page. The page shows public posts and public profiles of people who write about this market, with a link to the original. Who appears is our editorial choice: the material is public, and we do not add or remove people on request. If an entry misattributes something to you or links to the wrong person, tell us through the news-tip form and we will correct the mistake.
Disclaimer
None of this is advice. Because the page is assembled automatically from public sources, it can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and you should check the linked source before relying on anything here. The Cyberfuturists and Aunoo accept no liability for decisions made on it. Company names, product names and the names of analyst reports are their owners’ trademarks and appear here only to identify them.
